Warhorse Extra Dry Cider
Warhorse is not our most popular cider.
It is, however, the one that inspires the strongest opinions.
Made entirely from apples grown in our own orchards, Warhorse is fermented using wild yeasts and left unfiltered, producing a naturally cloudy cider in the style that would have been familiar on Devon farms during the First World War.
There is no added sweetness to soften it and no filtration to polish away its character.
The result is a bone-dry cider with firm tannins, natural haze and a flavour that divides opinion.
Some people take one sip and decide it isn't for them.
