Grenville's Revenge Keeved Cider

Naturally Sweet keeved Devon Cider | 4.0% ABV

Grenville's Revenge is a naturally sweet cider made using a traditional Devon method described by Robert Fraser in 1795.

Freshly pressed juice is repeatedly racked from the lees during fermentation, slowing the process naturally and leaving behind some of the apple's natural sweetness.

No sweeteners are added. The sweetness comes entirely from the apples themselves.

The result is a smooth, easy-drinking cider with fresh apple character, gentle sweetness and a light sparkling finish.

Named after Sir Richard Grenville's famous ship Revenge, this cider celebrates another part of Devon's history. In 1591, during the Battle of Flores, Grenville and the crew of the Revenge fought a running battle against a vastly larger Spanish fleet for over fifteen hours before finally being overwhelmed.

A Devon cider named after a Devon legend.

Sampford Courtenay Cider. Home grown from blossom to bottle.
